I know for me, in my older age I’ve notice that the once slim: child, adolescent, teen, young lady, and now full-grown adult has slowly added on some extra pounds. I blame it on getting older, but I could be wrong.

Anyway,  This new smoothie has really done the trick for me. I have more energy, and loss those extra pounds.

My Books!

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Hello IGNITERS,

I know I have been away for a while, but not sitting around idle. I have finally completed two eBooks. They are two books I hold special to my heart because they are two books I have dreamed about writing for some years now. And yes, it took longer than I thought, but that is OK, because all the while I was absorbing, learning,  and enjoying the process. Now, I know many people will say if one writes a book  one is an Author.

Now, I don’t claim to be a writer, but I am an Author. So, if I am an Author I am a writer, also. I guess.

I know for one to become a great Author, one has to practice, practice, practice. So, although I invite you to read my new books, please go easy on the criticism…:).

I plan to continue my efforts at writing, and I hope in doing so I become better at my new craft. I welcome any constructive criticism, thoughts, and feelings. Just remember when reading Generational Cycles, this is MY story, my thoughts, and my experiences. So be nice…. And when thumbing through Put’n Hot Sauce Don’t Make It Cajun, these are  my recipes, and twist on cooking. Nevertheless, both are two of my greatest passions and accomplishments. I hope I am able to inspire and motivate others.

Visualization

Visualize your goal as if it has already been reached, Make it real in your mind and you will soon make it real.
Visualization

When we visualize our dreams and goals, it is the first step for accomplishing them.  I truly believe that God does not implant dreams into us if he didn’t believe we had the power to carry out them. The question is, do you believe It?

The anonymous statement above, obviously speaks from experience  when he/she says we must not only visualize our dreams, but must act as though our dreams have already come to fruition. I find the way we do this, is by taking action. It is that simple. When we visualize what we want to do in life, we must then take actions steps to bring the dream alive. And doing this will eventually bring your vision to life.

Wednesday’s Wisdom

Untitled design(1)

During today’s technological surge many of us forget the importance of family time, making memories; or any given moment for connecting on a human, or social level because we are overwhelm with #computers, #Ipads, #video games, and #smartphones.

When we revel over those important moments during life, will we remember the memories, or will we remember what was happening on #Social Media?

Are You a Sociable Person?

SOCIABILITY

Just because one works in a social environment doesn’t mean one is actually #sociable. Is your sociability natural, or do you find it hard to communicate and interact with people you don’t know, or better yet, people who are not like you?

Are you timid in front of people and more importantly, do YOU think you are better than others? Do you come off as a natural and considerate person, or do you just FAKE THE FUNK to get ahead?

Sociable people recognize #natural sociable people.

Living the Herbal Life!

Teas equal Beauty(4)

Hey there IGNITERS,

Question: do you get your daily TEA intake? No, not the gossip tea, but the invigorating, healthy and life balancing teas… My daughter and I are TEA PHANATICS, and not a day goes by without us indulging.

Drinking fresh lemon water is a terrific way to start the morning because it flushes our body of toxins and keeps our liver healthy.

Teas have different ingredients that help support our bodies.

Green Tea- Improves brain function, lowers risk of certain cancers, and help in weight loss.

Green tea is very prevalent nowadays, so take a look at these other beneficial teas:

Mint Tea– digestion problems? try mint tea, it helps with bile flow, secretion and elimination of waste.

Cardamon Tea –  You say you have circulation problems? This tea is wonderful for ridding toxins from our bodies as well as benefiting kidneys and liver functions.

Oolong Tea– Overweight? This tea activates enzymes that cut down triglycerides (fat found in the blood) this tea burns more fat cells than simply drinking water.

Black Tea- Cholesterol problems? Well this highly caffeinated teas contains properties like thearubigins and theaflavins, two important antioxidants that help lower cholesterol.

White Tea- Heart problems? This tea has many proven health benefits. Similar to green tea it contains catechins, which helps fight cancer, and cardio-vascular disease. This tea may help reduce the risk for recurrence for breast cancer survivors.

So, put that sweet, sugary soda down, and indulge in a  few cups of hot tea.

Until Next Time,
